Area Manager Shoes

Your main responsibility will be to optimise sales, profit and achieving targets by selling the Mexx shoes collection to our wholesale partners in all functional areas in the South of the Netherlands. You will build and maintain commercial relationships with these partners and explore new business initiatives within the region by identifying and developing new customers. Other responsibilities will be to:

• Develop, implement and facilitate a consistent sales process which will ensure that you will meet or exceed your target.
• Plan forecast and report on sales, costs and business performances
• Articulate and translate the business needs within the Mexx team and execute a strategic plan in order to further grow the business
• Specify business goals and strategies per account and clarify the tools needed to hit your targets

Profile
You should have your Bachelor/University degree in business, economics or marketing management and you have a solid retail background with a minimum of 3 years experience in a key account sales position. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and you are quality and service minded. You would describe yourself as an open minded, energetic and result orientated team player with a strong commercial awareness.
